Critics have donned Jenne as "The Janis Joplin of Celtic Music" for her passionate live performances and the unusual strength and depth of her voice. Singing since the age of 3, Jenne has trained in Classical, Baroque, Choral, Celtic, S. African, Bulgarian, Blues, Appalachian, and many more styles. She received a BA in Music Performance from the University of Illinois at Chicago in May of 2006 where she received high honors, the Student of the Year Award, and was elected the speaker of her commencement ceremony.

Jenne has worked with dozens of renowned Celtic artists over the years. Such as, Rua, Eine Meneghan, Catherine O'Connell, John Williams, Jimmy Moore, Baal Tinne, The Academy of Irish Music (Cu Roi), John Daly, Liz Knowles, and many more. She has performed all over the world and has been featured on several television and radio stations in Chicago, Boston, Canada, France, Newfoundland, and the British Isles.

In July of 2006, Jenne opened the coveted Chant Du Femmes concert at the Lorient Interceltique Festival in Lorient, France. Jenne was the only American singer out of 5,000 Celtic artists worldwide to be selected to perform that year. This launched her career.

Jenne currently teaches at two academies in the Chicagoland area and serves as a clinician to help professional ensembles all across the United States develop their performances of Celtic Music.

Jenne is still recognized today as the lucky student who got to jam along with Sting on an episode of MTV's Stand In (April, 2004). She played Native American flute to Every Breathe You Take. The episode continues to re-air on MTV late at night. For footage of the episode, check out MTVU.com or you can locate the clip at youtube.com.
