You can't see the band because of the camera angle, but Davis Plett on acoustic guitar and Mike Penner on violin are making me sound good. This song is about trusting the Creator beyond earthly circumstances; that there is something better for the soul of us, no matter how hard things get here. Recorded live at The Purple Room at FRAME Warehouse in Winnipeg, November 22, 2014. This was my first official show back after an extended hiatus due to a vocal injury that has left a scar the length of my left vocal chord. My voice has slowly come back under the care of Dr. Jennifer Anderson and her team at St. Michael's Hospital in Winnipeg, and Janine Ennis at the Winnipeg Voice Clinic. It felt really good to sing again.
