Philadelphia Native Jay Bezel grew up in North Philadelphia. He was introduced to the hardships of life at an early age, growing up in a neighborhood surrounded and infested with drug addiction and prostition. He was also introduced to music at an early age with his father having a side job as a DJ. Bezel took to the liking of some of the most rememorable and praised hip hop artist such as Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, LL Cool J, Slick Rick, and Run DMC. And with so much passion for the music as a listener, it wasn’t too long before put that passion into creating music. He easily made a name for hisself as one of the most promising rappers to come out of Philly by doing local DVD's. Not long after, Bezel was presented with an opportunity to be heard by someone who could actually do something with his talent. His cousin had Juelz Santana’s phone number. Bezel called the number and nobody answered. But that didn’t discourage Bezel. When the answer machine went “beep”…Bezel went to ryming. Once Juelz Santana heard the message, he contacted Bezel for a meeting. After the meeting, Bezel was an official affiliate to Diplomat Records. Shortly after, Bezel appeared on Jim Jones debut solo album entitled "On My Way To Church". He was the unforgetting voice on the chorus to the smash hit "Certified Gangstas" which feat Jim Jones and Camron and also the "Certified Gangstas Remix" which featured The Game and Lil' Flip. He also was on an additional track on that album with Jim Jones and Juelz Santana called "This Is Gangsta" in which he showed the general public of hip hop that he can easily keep up with the big players of the industry. He went on to feature on several Diplomat mixtapes. Then he release his solo mixtape entitled "The Philadelphia Beast". The mixtape instantly grabbed the attention of every Diplomat fan and many who weren'tlol. He then was featured on Juelz Santana's best selling album "What The Game's Been Missing" where he and Juelz destroyed a track entitled "Violence". Since then he had went on the gain the respect of various industry artist and has worked with several of them such as Lil' Wayne, Young Jeezy, State Propery, Ace Hood, The Game, Lil’ Flip, Mack Maine, and Curreny just to name a few. Bezel has released several street mixtapes such as “Savior 2 Da City” and “Back 2 Da Money” which were considered “Classics”. Unfortunately, Bezel decided to leave the “Diplomat” Movement for his own personal reasons, and he started his own movement called “Doe Stackaz Ent.” He and his Co-Founder “Alpha” has been pushing this movement to new heights. So make sure you look out for “Doe Stackaz.
