Sky-Lyn

Sky-Lyn is a young Puerto Rican lady born and raised in the city of Passaic, New Jersey who at the age of three was noticed to be gifted with the talent of singing. She has sang for many political events which got her the opportunity to meet governor from N.j Cristy Whitman, Hilary Clinton, and many others. Sky-Lyn performed on the "Sally Jessy Rafael Show" at the age 8 "I'm a kid and already a star" leaveing the crowd with a standing ovation. She then went to perform on the spanish channel 47 and sang for many occasions like Christmas and the Fourth of July airings. She has gone from singing at the Apollo all the way to Nashville Tennessee at the Grand Ole Opery. Sky has been an opening act La India and for the late great Celia Cruz. Performing for many events like festivals all over New Jersey and New York gave her the opportunity to perform with Brenda K. Starr,The Barrio Boys and much more. She always left the crowd in amazement. Sky won in the New Jersey Performing Arts Center twice. At the age 14 singing "I Still Believe" by Brenda K. Starr She went back in two years and won again singing "All Cried Out" by Lisa Lisa. She also appeared on the Queen Latifah show twice, has done some acting in the soap opera "Guiding Light", and she even did some modeling for a magazine cover at a very young age. Later on in her career Sky-Lyn was given a chance to open up the show for the "Power 105.1 Flip The Switch" concert in which she was the opening act for Ciara, Petey Pablo, Fat Joe, and Jadakiss in 2004. She recently featured on 2 of Camron's album "Crime Pays" and "Gunz n Butta". She has also collaborated wit Shawnna and got to work with Heavy D in Pdiddys studio Daddys House. Her goal is to show her talent to the world. She writes her own songs and works with many official producers like Shy Boogz, Butta Beats, Sonaro, Mp3 and many more. Having many different varieties of music she loves doin Futuristic RnB, Urban Pop, and Latin. She wants to be recognized for her unique sense of style because she designs also and she is thankful for all her blessings.
