Another fine take by Cubrabop, when they performed a short version (with piano and guitar only) of 'Tango para Deia' by Jan Dumee in 'Zaal 2'of the Lanteren Venster venue in Rotterdam, during the Jazz Day preceding the annual North Sea Jazz festival. Cubrabop has just launched their new CD, 'Cubrabop 5'.

The Cubrabop Quintet mostly perform as the name suggests, blended but also extracted, music-disciplines from Brazil and Cuba. Virtuose Jazz improvisations complete the signature of the band. The musicians are from Germany, The Netherlands and France and muitimusic-disciplined having been played or playing in renowed Dutch groups such as Focus, Nueva Manteca, Monsieur Dubois, OTR, Cubop City Bigband, O Septeto, Zuco 103, Hind, Hakim. to name a few.
