DESCRIPTION:
I have some HK Stereo Equipment from the mid 80's . One of the weak points of HK Equipment from this era is the panel jacks would fall apart. This happened to my pre-amp, now my tuner, and it looks like my Equilizer is now starting the same issue.

Although it is a decent tuner, resale value is only around $40 so shop time is not an expense to be considered. Even parts, if they can be found may not be worth the expense.

The solution I used was to cut the connectors off an RCA cable and wire it directly into the Tuner. The downside is that I now have a 6' cable hanging out the back, but I now have a soldered connection in the tuner instead of a wire wrapped connection,
