A nice cover of "Life By The Drop" from Stevie Ray Vaughan's disc "The Sky Is Crying." The song was written by Doyle Bramhall and Barbara Logan. Performed at the Blues Against Breast Cancer Benefit show hosted at Poor David's Pub in Dallas on October 12, 2013 it features the combination of Jackie Don Loe on vocals and guitar, with Texas Slim on guitar backed by a rhythm section of Kenny Chavez on bass guitar and Kenny Stern on drums. The annual event is the project of Texas bluesmen Smokin' Joe Kubek and B'nois King, hosted each year to raise awareness and funding for those affected by breast cancer.
