The group Irmelin consists of Eva Rune, Maria Misgeld and Karin Ericsson Back, three female singers based in the vocal traditional music of Scandinavia and the North Sea Area. Dark and elegant songs and tunes in personal arrangements that bring out improvisation and individual expression. With great passion they tell stories that are just as modern today as they were centuries ago.
