Irene is a jazz pop vocalist from Canada, the country that gave us other world-class singers such as Michael Buble, Diana Krall and Celine Dion. She has a vocal quality that evokes of a young Ella, Barbra Streisand and Dusty Springfield.

Songwriter
It was a natural transition for Irene to begin writing her own material, releasing her first single in 2010 - a Christmas classic called "The Gift of Christmas Love" which will no doubt be a holiday classic for years to come.

Recording Artist
In 2007 Irene released her debut self-titled CD showcasing her renditions of some of the best jazz standards of our day. This was followed in 2009 with the release of New York Rendezvous, recorded live off the floor in a studio session with some of New York's finest musicians, which earned her critical acclaim and international attention. Irene is now working on her next album, a crossover into the mainstream pop and jazz genres.

Performer
As a performer, Irene has brought her music to the stage from North America to Europe, from Japan to Hong Kong and Australia. She's appeared on the same bill as the legendary Tony Bennett and Luciano Pavarotti. Irene Atman continues to dazzle her audiences with her voice, and her live concerts.
