Dave is in demand as a lyricist and composer and is currently working on collaborations with singer-songwriter SOPHIE BANCROFT and poet Gaia Holmes. World-class singer DEBORAH J. CARTER has recorded "Too Darn Blue" on her new album from Timeless Records "BLUE NOTES & RED SHOES". A magnificantly soulful and jazzy interpretation from Deborah and her band. The entire album is superb and features legendary FOCUS guitarist JAN AKKERMAN. "Absolutely top-class" - Music Maker Magazine. "Too Darn Blue has also been cut by the wonderful FAITH GIBSON and features on her new album "BIG MOON" (Capricopia Records). A dark and soulful guitar/voacal interpretation, Faith also includes "I Think Somebody Loves Me" on the album, a swinging interpretation with a great wooodwind arrangement. "Songs by Christopher Morse, Dave Gill, Emmanuel Herault, Duke Ellington and Gibson herself, fill this album with the kind of beauty that can only be expected from those who know what music is all about" - All About Jazz.
