Talented journeyman singer, song writer and multi-instrumentalist, Hurricane Mike Thompson has certainly paid his dues over the years.

Hurricane has worked gigs big and small in towns across North America having played with many fine musicians along the way. He got his nick-name "Hurricane" years ago in a Toronto club when someone shouted that when he blew harp it was like a hurricane.

His writing style would be likened to that of a story teller, painting vivid pictures with his lyrics.

The song "Colder Days" is a tribute to the homeless. "Swappin' tales of distant dreams and unfulfilled desires."
