Recorded on Reykjavik Jazz Festival 1.9.2012 at Harpa Concert House.

Stolt siglir fleyið mitt is a song written by Gylfi Ægisson in 1981. Performed by Áhöfnin á Halastjörnunni (The Crew of the Comet) as a folky accordion laced song with a disco beat it takes on the classic subject of the fisherman's live, he who works at sea and fights his battles with the forces of nature every day for the rest of his life, all for his fatherland, Iceland.

Hot Eskimos are a jazz band from Iceland. They thrive on old and new favorites, may it be punk rock songs or Neo-folk ballads or Eighties anthems, and turn them into their jazz slaves.

Hot Eskimos released their debut album, Songs From The Top Of The World in 2011.

Hot Eskimos are:
Karl Olgeirsson - Piano
Jón Rafnsson - Bass
Kristinn Snær Agnarrson - Drums
