Some believe that they are only the result of a rip, or loop in time, and they are nothing more than a peek into a long distant past. Others are not so easily dismissed, proving their existence through intelligent interaction. One event, above all else, that has given rise to tales and legends of supernatural occurences, was the American Civil War. Sweeping in scale, unprecedented in scope, and unmatched in blood, it was the defining moment of a young and burgeoning nation. After four years and over six hundred thousand deaths, it's ripples have touched every facet of American life. And death. Stories and legends were being born, even before the smoke had cleared, and they have continued to this day, some 150 years later. These stories are worth being investigated, and they are worth being told. Know your past, and you know your future.
