Born and raised in a small New Jersey town called Asbury Park rest a hungry artist/entrepreneur by the name of Hollyhood who's birth given name is """"""""""""""". Founder of Handz Down Entertainment(tm). Since a early age Hollyhood was always dedicated to the culture of urban music. From rapping in small freestyle battles to single handedly moving twenty three hundred plus units of his first mixtape in summer 2005. It was one of the best inspirations that could of ever happen to him. The motivation he carries encourages him to soon earn his spot in the hiphop world.

Inspired to rap by the late great Notorious BIG, Canibus, and Jadakiss, along with other life experiences. Hollyhood began rapping at the age of sixteen. Growing up in a environment surrounded by both good and bad he still managed to have a good turn out. Working hard all his life, and going thru tribes and tribulations struggling left and right just as anyone else did caused him to mature at a decent age.

After graduation Hollyhood enrolled in college followed by a dropout a year and a half afterwards. 2002 Hollyhood formed a group with the help from a former childhood friend. The group released 2 mixtapes and were featured on other mixtapes. The group lasted no more than a year before problems occurred amongst each other. Hollyhood was prepared for the departure and any negativeity headed his direction. Leaving on good terms made him open his eyes to reality and start taking his rap career more seriously. Realizing Business is business.

He took some time off away from writing to receive a whole new swagger. Causing him to gain the motivation. He strived to continue where he once started. Things weren¡¦t the same carrying his own weight. Not too long after he linked up with his cousin "Adonis Star" of Elite/E Records and "Pete Samples" of Up the Hill Records. Hollyhood was back on track.

Currently the CEO of his own label (Handz Down Entertainment). He remains a to show he can be a grinder all of the time. From focusing on his own material, and working with numerous artist/producers, etc. He still shows his hard working work ethics and humbleness as he progresses.
