DESCRIPTION:
The OCS class at Asheboro High School performs projects that will give the students skills that will help them throughout their life.
Joe Edwards has been helping the kids build things and in the process they learn how to use saws, screwdrivers, hammers, etc. Joe was already planning to build a greenhouse with the students and now, they are building a full scale aquaponics system in addition to the greenhouse.
The greenhouse and aquaponics system will both be built from the ground up from scratch by the students.
Not only will the students take with them the skills to build a greenhouse from scratch, they will also be able to build and operate a commercial aquaponics system.
This is the first installment of pictures and videos of the project as it progresses.
