Grant-Lee Phillips - Singer-songwriter Grant-Lee Phillips is a Stockton native and will be in town to perform at the Miners Foundry in Nevada City this Friday. With his former band, Grant-Lee Buffalo, he toured with REM, the Cranberries, Pearl Jam and the Smashing Pumpkins, though some might know him best from his role as the Town Troubadour on "Gilmore Girls." His new album, a solo work, is "Walking in the Green Corn."
