Who knew that when our headquarters moved to Hillsborough over 3 years ago that we’d be working in what Garden & Gun called the best literary small town in America? Over a dozen critically acclaimed authors reside in our small town and Purple Crow Books sits at the center of that community, where shop owner Sharon Wheeler keeps every Hillsborough writer in stock.
When Grant-Lee Phillips came to visit us for a few days in November, we thought the quaint bookstore would be the perfect backdrop for his session. He played us a few new tunes from his upcoming record, The Narrows, including “Smoke And Sparks.”
