On May 20th, 2012 Brooklyn based, 15 piece Space Funk big band The MK Groove Orchestra performed one of the final concerts at the iconic Williamsburg loft space Studio BPM NYC. The results of that performance eventually became Live at Studio BPM Vol. 1 + 2 released on Ropeadope Records.

Unfortunately, there were some great individual performances on songs that were otherwise unfit for release. Fortunately, we are starting an Outtakes! series to rectify any injustices that may have happened.

Part 1, features the amazing Tom Cumming shredding a beautiful, soulful guitar solo on the MKGO standard Sweet Jesus, composed and arranged by Michael Kammers, for your listening enjoyment...
