DESCRIPTION:
From Chester, South Carolina. The Gospel Harmonizers were founded in 1953, though by the time this album was recorded (probably late 70s or early 80s) they had only one original member. The group appears to still be around and is still led by Tommy Hicks. This seems to be a different group than the Mighty Gospel Harmonizers of Liberty S.C. As anyone familiar with gospel group naming conventions might imagine, there are a few other Gospel Harmonizers out there. This is the only release I've seen by this group.

The men and women who gave glory with this great music deserve to be remembered better.
