Risto Todoroski of Ohrid Macedonia - in Sydney for many years - who made and plays this gaida. I will pass your comments to him :)

1. Pajduško oro 2. Marica (3:10) 3. Osogovka (4:38).

Pajduško oro (lit: falling soul) or "drunken dance" known to communities in Macedonia, Thrace etc who all call it by the Slavonic name: Baidouska (Greek), Pajdusca (Aromanian), Payduşka (Turkish).

I love this comment from Slavae (Jandar69)!

"Pajgajne = falling
Duško, re Duško, man's name from duša = soul/spirit

In this sense "pajdusko" is considered to be an old nickname given to someone that is clumsy constantly falling for no reason. eg Dopey , Twinkle Toes.
OR AS YOU MENTIONED VAS THE DRUNKEN DANCE
IF YOU NOTE WHEN YOU ARE PLASTERED SOME TIMES YOU TEND TO TRY AND WALK FASTER THAN YOU CAN TO THE POINT YOU GET YOUR SELF INTO A LITTLE QUICK STEP RUN AND SUDDEN STOP AND GO AND WOOOOOOOOO PAJDUSKO , THE FALLING SOUL.

Macedonia's folklore is rich because it has been home to many communities over the centuries and all have contributed to its music. Keep it alive...
