Released in 1940 as a B-side, "Sweet Potato Piper" is a fine example of jazz-influenced big band swing. This song appeared in the movie "The Road To Singapore". It features Marion Hutton and "Tex" Beneke on vocals. This sample is taken directly from the Blubird 78 RPM record.
