DESCRIPTION:
I played this tune from Robben Ford with my Fender Jazz Road Worn. This is really an amazing instrument compared to its price, it is my favourite instruments at this moment. I just changed the original pickups with a couple of Nordstrand NJ4, that I consider the best replacement on a Jazz Bass. I have the same pickups on a Custom Shop Fender Jazz Bazz, they have the same sound of the originals but with a better middle range. However the original Road Worn pickups sound good, I prefer this bass compared to the new American Standard series, it sounds more...old manner. I recorded the bass line using a GR700+ head (www.grbass.com) and a Bearfoot Pale Green Compressor. Enjoy and share
