DESCRIPTION:
Jorge Santo demonstrates a classic variation number 2 on bongo. This is a technically demanding pattern as it involves heel tip technique, ghost notes and pauses, all of which make it very syncopated. It should be learned at a very slow pace in order to develop correct sequence to make is sound clear and groovy. It took me a while to learn the sequence itself. I suggest downloading and playing it even slower or taking a lesson with the master to learn it properly.

It was recorded in April 2012 in Footes Music shop in Golden Square, London. The shop has recently been relocated to 41 Store Street, WC1E 7DB nearby Goodge Street tube station.
