DESCRIPTION:
Bears and Lions, a local kid-friendly band with a passion for pancakes, performs "Down at Depot Park", a song they wrote about about Depot Park, which was holding its groundbreaking ceremony at the time in Gainesville, Florida. Now over a year later, the park has opened to much fanfare and become a popular spot for locals with its trail network and large playground. In the coming years the park will see the opening of the new Cade Museum (named for Robert Cade, inventor of Gatorade).

In addition to serving as a place for recreation, the park plays an integral role in the drainage system for local waterways.
