This is a song I wrote specifically for the upcoming horror/suspense feature film "Grime". It will be one of a few of my songs in the project...very happy to be a part of this. Details soon where you can download this and the other songs.

Starring: Richard Riehle (Office Space, Casino), Kristen Wilson (Dr. Doolittle, Walking Tall), J. Teddy Garces
Coming 2011

ABOUT THE SONG:
"My goal with this song was to model what was happening in the script in music. The lead character in Grime falls into a very strange addiction, but like all addictions, they eventually overtake you...so I wanted there to be an uneasiness and uncertainty about the song gently escalating until the climatic breaking point reached toward the end of the song."

LYRICS:

"Breath"

The silence stains your white linen face
The fall is filled with grace
The fall is filled with grace
The sinking sand will take this man
And I struggle to breath
I struggle to breath

These chains on me
I'm shackled while free
You hold the hollow that I know
So let me go, let me go

The water rise now past my eyes
From the rain you cried
An outstretched hand but you're not on land
Bury this man, bury this man

These chains on me
I'm shackled while free
You hold the hollow that I know
So let me go, let me go
