In 2003, Flav Giorgini teamed up with Matt Skiba and Dan Andriano from The Alkaline Trio to develop two guitars- The Matt Skiba GPC, and the Dan Andriano GPC bass. 100 Skibas were made, and 25 Andriano basses were made. They were not available in retail stores- but, they were available in '03 via an online order through guitarpunk. This bass is #17/25. When I was speaking with Dan himself, he told me that he has two of them, Derek has one, and Skiba has one. Additionally, he mentioned that Brendan Kelly from The Lawrence Arms has one. That leaves 20 remaining. Needless to say, they are VERY rare basses. I posted a message on a message board a few months ago and happened to mention in passing that I was looking for one of these Andriano basses. Six months later, I received a private message from somebody in Chicago, IL who had one and was hoping to sell his. So I said yes please, and the rest was history. I had it shipped from Chicago to Toronto in overnight priority via USPS. This bass is beautiful!!!!!!
