DESCRIPTION:
This ambitious set is played by Charlene Adzima and Rick Nelson at the Dublin Irish Festival 2011. The first tune is "The Mathematician" (by J. Scott Skinner) and is played here in the original key of D. It was largely made famous recently by the late, great Irish fiddler Sean McGuire. Charlene wrote the second tune for her student Iain's dead cat Stinky. Iain was convinced that the cat told him that he wanted a viking funeral (it involves rafts and fire) before he died. Alas, Stinky left no actual will behind and was thusly cremated.
