DESCRIPTION:
Twas the night
Before Christmas
When all through the house
Not a creature was stirring
Not even a mouse

The stockings were hung
By the chimney with care
In hopes
That St. Nicholas
Soon would be there

Then what
To my wandering eyes
Should appear
But a miniature sleigh
And eight tiny reindeer

With a little ol driver
So lively and quick
I knew right away
It must be St. nick

More rapid than eagles
Each reindeer soon came
As yelled on Dasher
and each reindeer's name

So up
To the rooftop
The reindeer
They flew
With a sleigh
Full of toys
And St. Nicholas too

Down the chimney
with a lead and a bound
He wa scovered in fur
and his belly was round

Without a word
He went straight
To his work
And filled
All the stockings
Then turned
With a jerk

An laying a finger
Along side his nose
He gave off a nod
and up the chimney
He rose

But I heard him exclaim
As he flew out of sight
Merry christmas to all
And to all a goodnight
