Ellen Stancombe film clip: "Jolly Bridge Story" - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jun 30, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
A brilliant violinist and vocalist, Ellen Stancombe is an original songstress from far north QLD, Australia. Her songs are inspired by just about anything and everything she encounters, including her home area in songs such as Turn Away and So Beautiful Round Here. She has produced a CD - "8 Weeks 2 Days" - from which this song is taken.

She has performed extensively with other artists including Emma Joleen, Jason Webley, Paul Lines, Wayne Jennings, Mick Nolan and many others. She has played in bands that cover very diverse music genres - from sci-fi art rock with The Red Paintings to celtic music to blues rock and country punk.

This footage was shot in the Queen Street Mall in Brisbane in late December 2011, and I promised Ellen I would put it all together in a film clip. It's taken a while, but here it is.
