Earl Carter is a Washington, DC based Guitarist, Bassist, and Saxophonist, whose multi-faceted talent, professionalism, and star-quality has officially sent him into the class "world-renowned".

Over the years, Earl has performed with many artists, local, national, and international. He is one of the few guitarists who perform on stage while switching from lead guitar to bass guitar. As a freelance musician, he has worked with Marcus Johnson, Alyson Williams, Bobby Lyle, Freddie Jackson, Angela Bofill, Regina Belle, Sy Smith, Bob Baldwin, Mya, Tony Terry, as well as being a solo opening act for Pieces of a Dream, Spyro Gyra, Bona Fide, and others.

Earl performs regularly at the legendary jazz club Blues Alley and many other historic venues in DC and Maryland. He also performed for The National Smooth Jazz Awards ('02), The Bermuda Jazz Festival ('02 & '03), The Ghana Jazz Festival ('03), and several other televised concerts and festivals. Earl has also been the featured performer for several radio stations, WJZW 105.9, WSMJ 104.3, 95.9 FM, and 102.3 FM. As a front man, Earl's band, "The Carter Project" displays other world-class musicians and consistently gives the audience a spectacular show. Recently he has spearheaded his personal CD project "Welcome Back Carter" (In stores March 2013).
