A Note from Dan:

"Silver Screen" was a fan favorite that my band Disciples of Groove played for many years. I reworked it several years later for a solo project.

The song deals with life's repetition, realizations, relationships, and moving on. Repeating the same mistakes, living in the past instead of the present, and also wanting to make something out of yourself in the end by achieving a life long dream are the messages this song is communicating to the listener. Sung from the listener's perspective, it is a message that most can identify with.
