Starting his career in the basement of his home at age 15, Tampa, Florida’s JJ PAOLINO has come a long way as a singer, songwriter, and a performer. His sound is reminiscent of established voices such as that of John Mayer, Dave Mathews, and Jason Mraz, but his vision is more cutting edge, admittedly finding influence in a new generation of singer/songwriters such as Matt Wertz, Stephen Kellogg, and Rob Blackledge.



As a songwriter, JJ PAOLINO crafts irresistible melodies over simple yet precise acoustic guitar textures, and his lyrics have an immediate appeal, resting comfortably within his well-conceived arrangements. The result is a sound that catches your ear and simply will not let go.



Still young in his career, JJ PAOLINO is already making his mark on the local scene. A first place finish at the Tampa “Battle of the Bands” as well as the “People’s Choice Award” is a testament to his appeal, and he is already a favorite at clubs in both Tampa and his home state, Rhode Island.
