We welcome one of Hamburg's finest, Mendoza with the first EP he contributes to the Midnight Munchies label. He starts off full throttle with ALL I DO, a track that sounds like the hulk baby of a Machinedrum/Disclosure collab. Stabby Synths, cut up vocals combined with a powerful but grooving rhythm which only allows a little break in the dreamy breakdown, before it comes back. BOTOX, the second doesn't lack in originality either, it almost sounds like Mendoza had a modified TR-808 battleship to take over the club, which happens at the second drop, latest. You can't miss the hip hop influences on this one. SUPABEATZ delivers an even clubbier version of this club track and shows off with one of his signature trippy rhythms on the main part. He really takes the 808 into a parallel universe, a real trippy one. The LE PETIT BELEGE & LE CHEVAL remix of ALL I DO is nasty! They turn the rather poppy tune into a track perfect for a belgian warehouse rave. It has some mean bass fort he guys and goes into a sexy breakdown fort he girls.
