Connie and Stefny began seriously composing eight years ago and have since formed a kinship with one another as producers, DJ’s and friends. ‘Finding Yusef’ is a benchmark moment for the two as they quickly realized music would be a constant in their lives.

The start of the track is rhythmic and subtle, hypnotizing the listener. But life isn’t meant to be a lasting peace and calm; jarring synths hit with full force lifting the track to a frenzied state. It’s in this aural tempest that life is upended and listeners are reminded to keep finding themselves through new experiences.

The track isn’t one note or one mood – but neither is life. Anytime you get too comfortable in any place or in any moment, its time to move on to another experience so you learn more about yourself.
