This mix was done back in 1997 when 106 KMEL played Dance Music as part of there urban format to compete against Wild 949 who was own by a different company than it is now today...this mix was inspired by Cameron Paul, Michael Erickson, Alexander M., Theo M., Billy V, Prince Ice and all the KMEL DJ's who came before I finally got my swing at DJing on radio....shouts out to Chuy, Franzen, Trace Dog, Latin Prince, Glen Aurie, Mind Motion, Rolo 13, Ivan, DJ Supreme, Rob Reyes, B Traxxx, Pos Red, Dave Myers, Rick Chase (R.I.P.), Evan Luck, Rosery, Joey A, Sway & the Wake Up Show....RESPECT for givin me that shot!!!...And to the new school KMEL folks in charge....Stacy Cunningham, Big Von, Scotty Fox, DJ Knuckles, DJ Amen, O.D.C., Box Kevv, Dru Hef, Sana G, & of course the KMEL street team who never get the full respect they deserve!
