The Vital Movement is a new weekly open mic installment for the socially conscious generation of change taste makers and party creators. We incite creativity and social dialogue. We inspire minds to tangle with the issues of our time through music and spoken words. We make movement a visual display that leads the party's mental elevation. In these beautiful times of outspoken change social movements by small, real, tangible communities are the wave of the future. Come stake your Art in The Vital Movement.

Sign up begins at 8pm. Performances begin at 9:00pm. Artists get 5 minutes to perform. Selected artists get asked to come back and perform 30 minute feature performance. We provide 10 or more five minute open mic performance slots and one 30 minute feature each week. Every week we have freestyle ciphers, the Milkmoney minute (weekly rant), Hip-hop trivia and Q&A with the host.

Come show off your talent and have a great time with your friends. Rap, Poetry, Rock, Folk, Hip-hop, Jazz, Blues, Comedy and all other performance arts are welcome and invited to come share build and help create a buzz around the best things in life; love, truth and community. We strive to provide a safe space for art and artists of all forms and genres to express themselves and add to the community.
