Matt Rowan is a new name for the catalog of Intricate Records, but definitely not a newcomer for the label's followers and, of course, the global electronic dance music scene. Since the 90s he is in the avant-garde of the Australian Progressive House and Tech House movement, his name stands in one rank with Anthony Pappa and Jaytech in importance.

For the Russian label Matt composed two antagonistic tracks that scrape along together within one release: «Cutesy» and «Genteel». The first one, despite the title, is totally pretentiousness-free. In contrary, everything inside the track runs in a dignified manner, decorously and ceremoniously, no superfluous elements could be traced and probably just those observable cowbell sounds might be considered a little bit arty-and-crafty.

«Genteel» got its title supposedly for the more delicate and sophisticated melodies, settled tempo and remarkable synthesizers that remind of various dreamy and cosmic motives of electronic music of the previous century.
