BIOGRAPHY



Dino starts very young as a radio deejay in a small town of the South of Italy, Cassino.
After a few years of experience, in the early mid nineties, he is crowned "master of ceremonies" of the Maltese nights, gathering more than 2000 people on the famous Axis' dance floor.
He grows up within an interesting group of lads such as Savino Martinez and Claudio Coccoluto, and in 1996 he decides to seek fortune in the United Kingdom, his native country.
In London his career gets a boost thanks to a long series of important remixes: Inxs, Planet Funk, Underworld, and the collaboration with The Housemartins & Scissors Sisters, just to mention a few names.
His productions are just as interesting as the remixes and Dino Lenny earns for three time in a row the label of " Essential New Tune" on Radio One (BBC) by the king of the dance music: Pete Tong – who will also refer to him as a "genius".
Considered "The Wizard of the Electronic music" by the Chemical Brothers, Dino Lenny explores the full range of his potentialities and starts singing.
With a simplifying abbreviation of his name, Dino records the single “Call me” which becomes a terrifically popular track all over Europe.
The British press defines his vocal talent as a halfway between the Talking Heads and Ian Dury.
Dino shows up a perfect Serpico style and sings in front of his raving fans at Tops of the Pops.
The successful single gives just a hint of what will happen with the release of the album "Might", in 2004.
Whilst busy with more important collaborations, Dino is invited by Hardage to take part to his project which includes Jocelyn Brown and Maxi Priest , Level 42 and Peter Gabriel, amongst the others.
In Spring 2007 Dino releases the single “Feels Like Home” together with Meck, and he takes care of the production (with Simon Duffy & Meck) and the vocals.
The track enters the UK chart top 40 and stands out in the BBC Radio One programming.
As an predictable consequence the tune becomes the soundtrack for the Wembley Stadium opening event, on the occasion of the FA cup final game: Manchester United – Chelsea (Live show with 160 countries connected).
A few months later Dino Lenny flies to Montreal to open the UNICEF concert - which gathers more than 7,000 people . Dino warms up the audience for Avril Lavigne.
After having produced the soundtrack for one episode of CSI Miami and in the middle of the preparation of the next “solo” album, the Madonna's management team gets in touch with Dino.
They want to use "Feels like home" in a mash up with the old classic “Like a prayer” and to performance the new remix across the world within the Sticky & Sweet tour ’08/09 ( more than 80 destinations between Europe and the Americas).
The 23rd August opening concert took place in Cardiff and it confirms the everlasting aura of the star Madonna and the blast remix.
The 80,000 fans present at the Millenium Stadium give a warm welcome to Dino's vocals and the virtual duet with Madonna.
The online buzz is definitely positive and "Feels Like Home" has already been said the best track of the tour.
He has just remixed Missy Elliot & Timbaland for Ministry Of Sound & Static Revenger ft Luciana for Toolroom.
The 2010 will see the release of his Feat Album which will contain among the others a version of the collaboration with Tiesto & Mark Knight and a nu single with TV Rock
