The name MECK was everywhere thanks to the UK number 1 smash hit single Thunder In My Heart Again in February 2006. The record gained the support of among others Radio 1s Pete Tong, who went on to play it for 10 consecutive weeks, made it his Essential New Tune and Jo Whiley who proclaimed it her record of the week and ‘guilty pleasure’.

Meck is the DJ and recording alias of Craig Dimech. Having started his A&R career at Ministry Of Sound, Craig was been responsible or had a hand in countless Top 10 and Top 20 UK hits, selling an estimated 10 million units and scores of underground sensations which have placed his skills firmly in the epicentre of cool, clubbing culture. Alongside all this was a DJ career which started in the early 90s – becoming club resident at one of London’s most loved nights Peach, running for a staggering 10 years, leading to guest appearances worldwide and gracing DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll.

After 3 very successful years at MOS he was then asked by Edel Records to start his own label and free2air was born in January 2003. The rest is history as they say, scoring hit after hit at a time when most imprints were being forced to close. With the view that the best form of defence is attack, Craig scored Top 10 success with Jason Nevins, Narcotic Thrust & Mousse T before delivering the UK 1 smash Thunder In My Heart Again.

So how do you follow up the only dance record to be the UK 1 for 2 weeks in 2006? Well, for Meck it wasn't about resting on his laurels and going down the same musical path again. Next up was 'Feels Like Home' utilising the classic, unmistakable riff from Felix's 'Don't You Want Me' with vocals written & sung by the much-underrated Dino (known to most of you as club don Dino Lenny), providing a refreshing, sophisticated collaboration - which resulted in the catchy, hypnotic, euphoric anthem, described at the time as 'Faithless Meets Kasabian'. This planted an early marker as one of biggest club records worldwide of 2007 and a Top 40 UK hit to boot.

Cut to the summer of 2008 and Meck was subsequently contacted by Madonna no less to help her complete the use of Feels Like Home in a mashup with her classic ‘Like A Prayer’. After finally realising it wasn’t a hoax (many emails and calls ignored) he and Dino helped finish what became ‘Feels Like A Prayer’. It was deemed to be the highlight of the ‘Sweet & Sticky’ Tour, seen by over 4 million people worldwide during August 2008 to September 2009, grossing over $400,000,000.

Following unprecedented demand Meck and Dino now bring you the track that caused such a stir with a host of top notch remixes from Michael Woods, Rene Amesz, Static Revenger, Ant Brooks, Bart Claessen alongside the Original and 2010 Club mixes. Oh, and get ready for the amazing video soon too!
