DESCRIPTION:
Growing up near Muscle Shoals, Alabama and becoming an award winning guitar player from an early age shaped Dillon Hodges into the soulful and expressive singer/songwriter he's become. Dillon plays a style of modern Americana and folk music that remains true to its old-time and southern bluegrass roots. He performs the currently unreleased song "The Night My Heart Disappeared" for his Shaker Steps session.

We met up with Dillon before his show at Al's Bar a couple weeks ago. His friendly personality came across right away and before long we were all laughing and joking with each other as we decided it was too cold to venture off to find a different place to film. A back room filled with "man cave" paraphernalia of all kinds seemed to do the trick. We set up and just enjoyed listening, watching, and filming Dillon doing his thing.
