So, back when I was still pretty new to the whole NWOTM movement, Diamond Plate was always a name that would pop up. "Dude, you've gotta check out Diamond Plate!" or "Diamond Plate's definately one of the best. Right up there with Havok and Vektor!" As you can probably tell, I just said "Fuck it. I'll look em up later." Well, later is now. This is their debut album, released by Earache Records (Evile, Gama Bomb, Bonded By Blood) and it takes a little getting used to. The vocals turned me away for awhile but the musicianship just kept drawing me back in. After going over it for the past week, I can say I really enjoy this album.
