De Indispensables and Junior Reid new video ''I AM FREE''

DE INDISPENSABLES (I’m free) - a fusion of Hip-hop and Reggae is the best way to describe the forth coming single from De Indispensables African Hottest and most anticipated hip-hop act.The group burst out from the riverside shores of Nigeria in 2004 emerging as winners of a talent competition organized by Grafton Records a United Kingdom Independent Record label. The duo made of Lenny B a talented vocalist and TL a Poetic Rapper formed the group in 2004 after the talent search and has since then been known for making hit songs that have rocked Africa and in recent times Europe the United Kingdom specifically. They have enjoyed phenomenal chart success in Africa. Their last single ‘I love you’ made history as one of the African acts songs that got play listed in some mainstream stations in Europe and some parts of the United States. They have performed alongside stars such as Wayne Wonder, Akon, Beenie Man, a Mobo award winning rapper/ DJ Phoebe One and Pyrelli. After beating off 300 other hopefuls in 2004 they secured a recording contract with independent Grafton Records.

Their new single ‘I’M FREE’ is taking from their forth coming album Press on Part 2 (The under rated) I’M FREE is an inspirational song taking from the duo’s life experiences and the slavery time of the past. This track serves as part of Black history at the same time inspirational to every one who has gained self freedom. The fusing of an African flute at the bridge of the song and a catchy reggae style chorus and base line makes it rare fusion of a new style hip hop anthem.

The performance of the acts on the track shows the maturity of and excellent Writing skills of the Duo. Mtrill another act from the Grafton Records Stable is also featured on this new hip-hop anthem.

QUOTES:

“These guys have the style and talent to be massive. They have come from nothing and the world is all downhill from here. They came from the ghetto’s of Nigeria and have sung their way to the top. 10 points for faith and determination. The most amazing part if that the music and their vocals are pure gold. The Indispensables are stars and the world will be hearing more from this hot duo in no time soon.“
