Jigs has received a total of 8 Mobo Award DJ nominations (1996, 98, 99, 2000, 2001 & 2003), and in 2001 and 2004 he got the token he deserved when he was voted Best DJ at the now prestigious event. He also collected an EMMA (Ethnic Minority Media Awards) in 1999.Jigs also sits on the panel to select the music played on Choice FM, so part of his duties include listening to the numerous new tracks that arrive at the station and deciding which ones should be added to the playlist. He is also the creator and organiser of Rapology, and he puts together the CD compilation series R n B Dub Plate Pressure with many more in the pipelineAside from work hes a big footie fan and in between life at Choice FM he enjoys going to watch Arsenal games and working out in the gym. His pet hates include watching Arsenal lose (which apparently doesnt happen often).
