The name came when I was in high school and fresh into the rap game proper. Every one wanted a name that didnt sound weak and Ruggedman was the one I came up with, after I thought the phrase Mc was a bit over flogged,cos I was Soul Mc before.



Born in Abia State Nigeria.I do ma rap with a fussion of my local lingua,so da world will know where I am coming from.



Dropped my first song titled "Ehen Pt.1,in which I critisized the so called top musicians in Nigeria.That made me enemy number 1 n shot me into the main stream.

Now I run my own label in Nigeria "RUGGED RECORDS"



Have performed alongside KC n Jojo,Guru,Sean Paul,Wyclef Jean,Akon,Wayne Wonder,Ja Rule,Kevin Little,Maxie Priest, Ruggedmans been performing all over Nigeria right now and is Nigerias most wanted rap act.
