Da Problem is like a volcano that has been simmering creating energy waves with volcanologist for decades waiting to erupt and expose its flow to the world. As the buzz is generating in the underground streets of the Bay it is certain to garner the ears of main-street America.

Da Problem, born, bread and self made street rap icon from Oakland who lived in Atlanta for a period has taken it upon himself to put the Oakland street sound of hip-hop on his back to become a “Hard Hitta” and keep it moving to unprecedented heights. Da Problem while keeping his feet firm in the Bay is building his brand awareness in taking the road less traveled by any artist let alone a rap artist. Da Problem played semi-pro football for five years. He tried out for the arena league and made the team, but within one week of being on the squad recognized playing ball wasn’t for him any more and decided to pursue his hidden passion for the world of music.



Da Problem returned to the street grind and hustle of the music industry. His work ethic was so tenacious that he was hired to be a street promoter for Def Jam. When he met another rapper, named Earl Hayes who is currently signed to Interscope, asked him to be his hype man. With no knowledge of his skills as an MC, Da Problem obliged and unbeknownst to him, his rap career was born. He has transferred that same street mentality and tenacity in promoting his music. He has been on numerous mix tapes. He has done collaborations with artists’ from the UK to Paris. His buzz is so busy in the Bay that he is constantly being booked to do shows. The road less traveled that he continues to pave as a solo artist consists of him being a part of a group, Dem Golden State Boyz partnering with PayPah Boi. He is a family man married to his wife of five-years with five children. His partner in his company Problematic Inc is his wife, Mia “Mrs. Problematic. He is currently in the lab working on his rookie album, but don’t let his rookie status fool you. His first underground hit single in the Bay “Do My Lil Dance” is doing just that having all the party playas dancing and will be as sure as the sun rise to have the clubs from the country to urban America dancing. “Do My Lil Dance” embodies all the rap elements of having a good day, good times with good people at a place where the line is long to get in so be prepared to do your lil dance when you hear it.
