Jazz bassist Jonah Jonathan interviews pianist, composer, educator, Danilo Perez who had just finished performing with the Wayne Shorter Quartet along with Brian Blade and John Pattituci. The band displayed a fantastic performance which can be heard in both the intro and ending of this interview. What you might find unique in this music is that the crowd sang happy birthday to Wayne in french and Danilo Picked up on it right away!
