this is an excerpt from a new album from Fruits de Mer Records - 'A Phase We're Going Through' - 11 classic slices of sixties psychedelia reinterpreted by new bands, with lashings of phasing, studio trickery and love for the originals, of course. Jimi Hendix's 'Little Wing' is perhaps an unusual choice for the compilation, but Fruits de Mer favourites Cranium Pie give it a lovely not-of-this-world feel, floating in and out of earshot with no sign of a guitar anywhere (who could compete with Jimi?) but lots of Rob's Juno 60- nice.
