Connie Dover - Rosemary's Sister - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 12, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Rosemary's Sister, composed by Welsh song writer Huw Williams and sung by Connie Dover, is the story of two little girls living in London at the height of the blitz in World War Two. Bombs, including the infamous V1 flying bomb or 'Doodlebug' are falling on London. One hits the house in which Rosemary and her sister are sleeping. This is a great and moving song, expertly sung by Ms Dover on her first album, 'Somebody'.

The song is accompanied by images of the bombed out cities of World War Two, and the ordinary people, especially the children, who suffered in the bombing. Images come from Wikimedia Commons
