Claire Lynch How Many Moons - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 09, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
Claire Lynch and her band perform "How Many Moons" live backstage at the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley, California.

Before their soundcheck at the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley, California, Claire Lynch and her band—Mark Schatz (bass), Bryan McDowell (fiddle, mandolin, and vocals), and Matt Wingate (guitar and vocals)—graciously allowed us to film a couple of informal performances. Here they perform Lynch's song “How Many Moons” from her 2014 release Dear Sister (compassrecords.com). Lynch was recently nominated for three IBMA awards: Song of the Year, for her song "Dear Sister"; Recorded Event of the Year, for the song "Wild Montana Skies," recorded with Special Consensus and Rob Ickes; and Female Vocalist of the Year. She will be releasing a holiday album this fall, appropriately titled Holiday, on her own label (clairelynch.com).
