PUBLISHED:  Apr 12, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
Hi, I'm 15 and this is the first ever performance of any of my original songs, and also the first time i had performed vocaly whilst playing guitar. It was at a school talent competition which I won! Unfortunately I couldn't upload a video of it and I apologyse for the off notes. Oh, and I am very aware that my guitar playing isn't upto scratch, I was so nervous! Please don't be too harsh! :') But constructive critisism is welcome. Thanks!

Lyrics:
She didn't believe in love,
Those fairytales couldn't fool her,
And he had more important things to do,
He was only young but he was named after an actor,
And he couldn't play bass,
And things just got thrown back in his face,

Sometimes fame isn't a good thing,
But when you've got the look,
That they read about in books,
Its inevitable,
And love can get pushed to the side,
Then they fell down the rabbit hole,
And they began to lose control,
It's such a shame,
Were all just part of a losing game.

So let's check in to room 100,
And we'll work out what's next for us,
Though it seems like we're going nowhere,
Just keep looking forward and keep your head in the sky,
Things will be fine,
I'll live out my months by your side.

Then our star-crossed lovers,
Got stuck under cover,
They were lost in a scene,
With a million teens,
But then civil blood made civil hands unclean.
Romeo got the blame,
And they drove him insane,
It's such a shame,
Were all part of this losing game.

So let's check in to room 100,
And we'll work out what's next for us,
Though it seems like we're going nowhere,
Just keep looking forward and keep your head in the sky,
Things will be fine,
I'll live out my months by your side.
He said;
I'll check out of room 100,
God knows I believe in love,
But not in fairytale endings,
I'll keep looking forward and keep my head in the sky,
But things won't be fine,
Goodbye.
